These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GoldKey Repairs website and services. By using our website or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

GoldKey Repairs provides residential handyman services in Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley, including but not limited to general repairs, plumbing fixes, electrical work, drywall and painting, furniture assembly, TV mounting, door and window repair, shelving and storage installation, and weatherproofing.

2. Pricing & Payment

• First hour: $150
• Each additional hour: $85
• No hidden fees, service call charges, or trip fees
• Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing
• We accept credit/debit cards via Square and Stripe, and cash
• Gift card purchases are non-refundable but transferable

3. Scheduling & Cancellations

• Appointments can be scheduled by phone at (323) 630-9115 or through our website contact form
• We appreciate at least 24 hours notice for cancellations
• Same-day service is available based on technician availability
• We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances

4. Scope of Work

• Our technician will assess the job on-site and confirm the scope before beginning work
• If additional work is needed beyond the original request, we will inform you and get approval before proceeding
• We reserve the right to decline jobs that require specialized licensing beyond our scope (e.g., major electrical panel work, structural modifications, HVAC systems)

5. Satisfaction Guarantee

Not happy with our work? We'll come back and redo it at no extra charge. No questions asked, no fine print. Please contact us within 7 days of the completed service to request a redo.

6. Liability & Limitations

• GoldKey Repairs is licensed and insured in the State of California
• Our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim
• We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, defects, or damage not caused by our work
• We are not responsible for delays caused by material availability, permit requirements, or circumstances beyond our control

7. Property Access & Preparation

• You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the work area
• Please secure pets and remove fragile items from the work area before our arrival
• For rental properties, you must have authorization from the property owner for any work performed

8. Materials & Parts

Unless otherwise agreed, the customer is responsible for purchasing materials and parts needed for the job. Our technician can advise on what is needed and may pick up materials at your request (material cost will be added to the invoice).

9. Text Messaging (SMS) Terms

By providing your phone number and initiating contact via text message, you consent to receive SMS messages from GoldKey Repairs at the number provided. Messages may include:

• Responses to your service inquiries
• Appointment confirmations and reminders
• Service follow-ups and customer support
• Estimates and invoicing information

Message frequency varies based on your service interactions. Message and data rates may apply.

Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing our services. Your phone number will not be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We use Twilio to deliver text messages. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Jobs totaling $500 or more (combined labor and materials) are performed by or under the supervision of a licensed contractor. We do not perform work requiring specialized licenses such as major electrical panel upgrades, structural modifications, HVAC installation, or roofing.
